London Clay

London Clay has been played on NTS shows including Annabel Fraser, with Smashing Time first played on 1 November 2025.

London Clay are visual artist Gema Oliver & musician Pat Daintith (Hygiene, Harold Turgis). The electronic duo formed during the pandemic after experimenting with old / found instruments & online synths. Their music explores the sounds & images of south east London, alongside lyrics on suburban voyeurism, urban ecology & city rhythms. The name London Clay was inspired by south London’s geology & the ceramic work created by the duo.
