A great lover of the music of his time, the French classical pianist born in Metz, François Mardirossian, has always defended it. A few happy encounters will decide him to make the piano his profession and his life: Marie-Annick Chamarande, Henri Barda, Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, Dominique Cornil and Svetlana Eganian.

His tastes lead him to play Philip Glass as well as Frédéric Chopin, Keith Jarrett, Moondog, Frédéric Lagnau, Alan Hovhaness, John Cage, Serge Rachmaninov, Harold Budd, Georges Gurdjieff, Erik Satie, Ann Southam, Emahoy Tsegué-Maryam Guèbrou, Dominique Lawalrée or Mario Stantchev.

He regularly performs in concerts in France and Belgium: Ars Musica Festival (Brussels), Autres Mesures Festival (Rennes), Limoges Opera, Brussels Parliament, Palais des Académies de Bruxelles, Musée des Instruments de Musique de Bruxelles (MIM). .. He has the pleasure of having played with the Tana Quartet, Alexis Paul, Christine Zayed, Sogol Mizraei… and accompanied Bertrand Belin and Claire Vailler.

Released in 2019, his first solo disc is devoted to Moondog's piano works and garnered several rave reviews as well as a CHOC Classica. His last two recordings released in 2022 by Advitam Records devoted to the Piano Studies of Philip Glass and the piano work of Alan Hovhaness (CHOC Classica of the year) were also noted.

He writes regularly for the contemporary music magazine Hémisphère Son and in 2018 released a collection of poetry Ce que Bruxelles conceale dans son ciel published by Chloé des Lys.

Superspectives, a contemporary music festival in Lyon that he co-directs with Camille Rhonat, counts among its guest artists Frederic Rzewski, Alvin Curran, Charlemagne Palestine, Lubomyr Melnyk, Gavin Bryars, Jean Rondeau, Karol Beffa, Christian Zanési, Tana Quartet, Edouard Ferlet etc.
