Shostakovich Quartet has been played on NTS shows including Tommasi, with String Quartet No. 2 In D Major first played on 24 December 2022.

The Shostakovich String Quartet formed in 1967 in Moscow, and have performed in 35 countries during the past several decades. They have performed and recorded the entire cycle of Shostakovich's string quartets. In addition, their repertoire includes works by major European comoposers including Haydn, Mozart, Bheetoven and Brahms.
