Žen has been played on NTS in shows including Supporter Radio: Your Specialist Subject, featured first on 29 December 2024. Songs played include Ton I Broj.

Formed in Zagreb, in 2009, the four-piece audio-visual band ŽEN (xzen) combining massive synths and polyphonic vocals with classical rock gear (drums, bass and guitar), and astonishing live VJing. Their music ranges from post-rock and noise to synth-electro and dream-pop. Combining intricate arrangments and immersive live visuals they create a fully authentic psy post rock experience. Eva, Sara and Ivona got together in Autumn 2009, recorded EP, went on tour, and until 2010 create and perform music under the name Žen. In the summer of 2011 visual artist Tanja joins, which transformed Žen into audio visual band. Their debut album „I onda je sve počelo“ was released in May 2013 by Unrecords. Recently they have released a single “Iskrenost je posebna” (Andrea Giordani remix) on “Balkan under the radar: The Black Wave” At this moment they are hard on work recording the second album, which will be released in Spring 2015. Žen have played numerous gigs all across Europe - from the Ex-Yu region, Austria, Germany, Slovakia, Czech Republic, France, Italy, Switzerland to Denmark and Sweden.
