A fresh newcomer with an intriguingly archaic sound, here is Tiiu Helinä. The underlying mood of her music is lightness stemming from the natural essence of songcraft, yet there are great depths to be found. The songs flow forwards as if happening in the moment, with the ease of folk songs and lullabies. The tracks are modern, but evoke the feeling of not originating from any particular point in time. Rich in detail, the music is electronic, at the same time distinctly organic in terms of feeling. Tiiu Helinä's brother Samuli Tanner of the electronic duo Clouds completes the melodies with ambling soundscapes.
