Samandtheplants is a project of Sam McLoughlin, songwriter from the North West of England, on the Twisted Nerve label. He was assisted by Alison Cooper before she went solo as Magpahi.
Mixing everything from folk, Kraut, tropicalia, experimentation and a strong DIY aesthetic, McLoughlin takes a cut and paste approach, piecing together short sketches and home-recorded ideas into long tracks.
