Körkarlen has been played on NTS shows including Debt & Refuge , with Cydonian Fields first played on 21 November 2025.

Körkarlen is a project formed by members of the Woodsmoke clan to honor the memory of Joris Samuel Brinkerhoff (Münn), who passed away in September 2009.

They released "Zeroana Akerne" in October 2009, with the following explanation: "This album was recorded upon receiving word of Joris' death and exists as his audial wake. It represents the soul leaving the body and expanding infinitely beyond the dimensional fabrics of Kosmos which comprise linear time, transcending the Void and attaining conscious non-duality within Infinity."
