Triveni has been played on NTS shows including Ambient Abracadabra w/ Sofie Birch, with Where Sunlight Dances And Shadows Rest first played on 9 February 2026.

Triveni is a jazz group led by trumpeter Avishai Cohen. The ensemble is the perfect conduit for the musical explorations of Cohen, who takes full advantage of the space and freedom this pianoless trio affords. Drawing from hard-bop, straight-up funk, and avant-garde, Nasheet Waits (Drums), Omer Avital (Bass) and Cohen effortlessly move from the American songbook to standards and Cohen's original compositions. Cohen's sometimes provocative and always soulful playing has never sounded so assured as he continues to establish himself as one of his generation's leading musical voices.
