João Dias [BR] is a forgotten, once-profilic Brazilian singer born on October 12, 1927 in Campinas, State of São Paulo. He was an active recording and performing artist from the early 1950s throughout the late 1980s. His repertoire consisted of songs in a variety of styles, such as MPB, bossa nova, samba, samba-canção, baião, habanera, bolero, salsa, foxtrot and tango.
