riverrun is a side project by Daniel Land of the Manchester, UK shoegaze band Daniel Land & The Modern Painters.

Taking its name from the first line of James Joyce’s modernist, subconscious masterpiece Finnegan’s Wake, riverrun (always in lowercase letters) is a series of ‘secret’ ambient recordings that Land has been working for over a decade in parallel to his songs.
