An Ibex Band Special: In Conversation
This 60-minute special features an intimate interview with Ibex band members Giovanni Rico and Selam Seyoum Woldemariam, tracing their journey from 1950s Addis Ababa to founding the legendary group. It explores their early influences, the story behind the 1976 album Stereo Instrumental Music, and its lasting impact on Ethiopian music amid the country’s turbulent cultural shifts.
