Bakisimbatronics Vol 3, this is a 1hr Live mix by Maganda Shakul a Ugandan based music producer, performer and Fashion designer. This mix transports us to the late 90s and early 2000, deconstructed from the folk vocals of Uganda traditional music , intertwined with synthesizer, bass, melodies and drumloops made with Mina Music (UK) earlier this year in Nairobi at Kelele summit. As i spent some of my teenage in Kiboga district deep in a village called Kikolimbo This mix revives the anthems that scorched our teenage eardrums: bar bangers and ceremony staples, alive with live folk drum performances.
