Beyond Ijaazat: Women in Pakistani Music
The stigma around being a female musician in Pakistan鈥檚 sonic history did not stop these incredible women from achieving musical greatness. This mix features women who pushed the boundaries of popular music to become salient features of Pakistan鈥檚 soundscape.
Put together by Natasha Noorani, this mix is in collaboration with Chalo, a wonderful South-Asian compilation, with net profits going to Human Rights Law Network and Zindagi Trust.
