A one take vinyl only mix. This is a lil introspective journey through some of my most personal and intimate records. Songs and artists that, in the natural chaos of life, would ground me. Soul nourishers. Anxiety relievers. The image of the cows in a field was taken by me in Armenia this October, where the infinite landscapes resonated with sound waves going through the most serene empty valleys. Raw Kernels is a series of vinyl-only mixes that express the complexities of human vulnerabilities. A space where I encourage myself and others to share little delicate, painful, hidden, perhaps even forgotten pieces of themselves, play records that we usually don't have the chance to, due to some social pressure or setting. It is genre defying, complex and cathartic. Raw Kernels focuses on expressing heartfelt connection with music through playful and intricate mixing. My own oasis.
