Plastic Language w/ Nisha Ramayya
"A sonic travel journal through parts of North and South India, mixed with poetry and music. On a matrilineal heritage trail of sorts, we queue up at temples, wander down gullies, and wait out storms. The trail is beset by digressions, as memory yields to myth, as translation divaricates, and each junction complicates the notion of kinship for which we search. This volume of Plastic Language features recordings made by Nisha Ramayya during her travels in Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, and Andhra Pradesh in April/May 2024."
