NTS Guide To: Steeplechase Records

In 1972, Copenhagen University student Nils Winther began recording US jazz performances at the city's Jazzhus Montmartre. He was given permission to release some of the recordings commercially, and thus began Steeplechase Records, Denmark's premiere jazz outlet.
