Howard Nishioka has been played on NTS in shows including Aaron Angell, featured first on 3 April 2021. Songs played include Odyseas Over Seas (To the sailors and Fishermen) and Carnivourous Dogaramus (For San Francisco, Streets and Dogs).

Street Songs (1979) is a secret leftfield voyage into Hawaiian psych unknowns. Nishioka’s guitars cast a wide net from electric-detonated space solos to acoustic-led meanderings verging toward American Primitive territory.
