The Lab

The Lab has been played on NTS in shows including The Do!! You!!! Breakfast Show w/ Charlie Bones, featured first on 19 February 2015. Songs played include Pick Up On This (The Only Version).

The Lab refers to more than one band:

1) A Spanish electronic duo from Madrid. 2) An electronic music group from Sydney that was active from 1989-1997.

1) The Lab are José Corredera & Miguel Lázaro. They are from Madrid, Spain. The Lab project began in 1993, when José and Miguel was 13 years old, with their experiments with sound manipulation and electronic devices. In 1998 The Lab release their first record "Escuchando Imágenes" that was the soundtrack of the first electronic images exhibition with graphic designer Bernardo Rivavelarde. After working making music for Coca-Cola and Opel, among others, The Lab produced their album "Homodigitalis" in 2003.

Future Music gives a 9/10 and writes about Homodigitalis: "The Lab clears perfection. Greater words"

At the moment, according to their web www.thelabsound.com, Jose and Miguel are working in their new album, and a new edition of Homodigitalis, with two remixes, are going to be out in the next months
