Malignant Altar was a death metal band from Houston, Texas. The band was formed in 2018 and disbanded in 2022. They consisted of Wilson Prevette (vocals), Joshua Bokemeyer (guitars), Beau Beasley (guitars), Mat V. Aleman (bass) and Dobber Beverly (drums). Their lyrical themes are occultism, darkness, and doom. They were signed to Dark Descent. They released two demos in 2019 and an album in 2021. The two demos are Retribution of Jealous Gods and Ceremonial Decapitator while the album is Realms of Exquisite Morbidity. One of their similar artists is Ageless Summoning.
