Loner has been played on NTS shows including Eastern Margins, with Fashion Angel (dot.jaime & Loner Remix) first played on 11 December 2020.

There are three artists who go by Loner:

1) LONER, a musician hailing from Manila, draws strong inspiration from the dance music of the '90s and '00s, particularly embracing the rhythms of two-step and drum & bass. Singing in both Tagalog and English, LONER infuses his music with quiet and cool pop melodies, enhanced by lush synthesizers, crafting a distinctive dreamy and lively sound.

2) Loner (a.k.a. Geoff Smith) makes atmospheric, mysterious and beautiful music that Geoff describes as sounding like "piano-based, Cohen-style acoustics, dramatic, emotive, darkly genius, 'fuzzed up moodscapes', haunting vocals…..think along the lines of Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Aphex Twin."

3) Loner 2008: we were always about friends making music and living their lives at the same time. Seba couldnt find the time and the energy anymore to keep on playing, so we had to say goodby to our drummer! We wish him the best with his new family and ofc with the boys from Shedai. We tried out some drummers and are proud to say that we found a very worthy replacement in the form of Alladin. His drum style will only bring more power into our crossover style and we all feel that this was the missing link. We gonna make some new songs and hit the studio afterwards. This is the kinda metal we always wanted to make and we feel as passionate as ever about it!
