Shout

Shout has been played on NTS in shows including Pulling Threads w/ MI-EL, featured first on 25 October 2023. Songs played include Life Is Rough.

There are at least many bands of this name:

1) American Shouts is a Christian heavy metal band whose albums It Won't Be Long and In Your Face set the pace for the the Christian metal scene in the late 1980s and early 1990s. (For MP3 downloads of both albums, visit Ken Tamplin's MP3 download page.) As hair metal died away the band broke up, but lead singer and guitarist Ken Tamplin continued recording with Magdallan/Magdalen and and solo projects. Shout reformed in the new millennium and produced a new album Shout Back.

2) The Canadian Shout! is a one-man musical project by Vancouver, British Columbia resident David A. Mattatall. He is actively recording and releases all his works through Davidsmind Inc.

3) The British band is an off-shoot of Gentle Giant.

4) The Italian band is a rock'n'roll band from Lazio region, with Italian lyrics. Their debut album is called Manuale Per Non Suicidarsi (2009).

5) This band came from USA, Boston, and were formed around vocalist John Levesque. The band released an LP called ‘Finger On The Trigger’ which came out in 1987 on their own label Shout Enterprises. Many years later, the LP would receive a 10/10 review by AOR Classics magazine, which prompted many to go on a hunt for it. This must have ‘triggered’ the attention of the folks at Escape Music, because in 1997 the label released a CD by the band, strangely titled ‘Shout’ and containing some of the songs found on the LP. The album was produced by 38 Special staffie Tom Soares and the band’s drummer Drew Ferrante.

Members: John Levesque (vocals); Brian Maher (guitar); Tommy Plevin (guitar); Mark Normand (bass); Drew Ferrante (drums).
