Quarteto Nova Era has been played on NTS in shows including Death Is Not The End, featured first on 29 October 2023. Songs played include Viagem No Tempo.

Quarteto Nova Era hailed from Niteroi, Brazil, a small city across the river from Rio de Janeiro. Niteroi had an active music scene in the late 60's/early 70's, but the bands were often overshadowed by their counterparts in Rio and Sao Paulo.

A lone 4-song 7" EP, extremely hard to find today, is all the Quarteto managed to release. It's a shame; with greater exposure they could easily have had a place alongside the better known Tropicalia artists…
