Ikaro Grati has been played on NTS shows including Channeling w/ Ivan Smagghe & Nathan Gregory Wilkins, with Run Like A Child first played on 2 January 2024.

Ikaro's unconditional love for music arose while he grew up in Poperinge. A small yet cosy town in West Flanders, Belgium. Surrounded by youngsters and friends, IG's interest for various genres of music rose day by day. Whilst visiting clubs in Kortrijk, Ghent and Antwerp, he broke into producing his own music. While Ikaro was acquiring himself tons of knowledge and tricks, he kept on developing his own style.

His style can be sketched as a deep yet slightly ambient style dominated by classical influences. He tries to combine this hypnotic style with the art of silence. He was inspired by great musicians but also by his friends from his hometown. These influences range from Tale of Us, Third Son, Stephan Bodzin to Dixon , Trikk , etc.. even Beethoven’s fifth symphony fits in his collection. But the main source for his inspiration is the sound of nature.

His first EP was released on Stab Recordings, runned by Frederick Alonso. During his quest for some new challenges, he found his heart in a new family based in Cologne : Traum Schallplatten. Combining his Law education and his zeal for dark music makes Ikaro a humming young guy, hoping to reach his musical and educative goals.
