Ana Lua Caiano is a Portuguese singer, songwriter, composer, producer and artist. A one-woman band, it combines the genre of Portuguese popular music with electronic music and hip-hop, through the use of instruments such as a microphone, keyboard, loop station, bass drum and other instruments; with different devices, it creates several layers of voice, percussion and overlapping melodies. Caiano has been involved with music since she was young, having started learning piano when she was 6 years old. After four years on a regular course at Hot Clube de Portugal and a spell in some bands as a vocalist, he decided to launch into composing. With the COVID-19 pandemic, she felt she could explore making music for herself and as a solo career.
