H."Doobie" Powell is a Gospel Recording Artist, Producer, Singer, Songwriter, Composer and Multi faceted Musician! Devoted Christian, father, husband, minister and most importantly a God Chaser! Doobie has been on a musical journey since the age of 2 and continues that journey to this day. He was born to Hubert Powell Jr (Gospel Jazz Great) and Jacquelyn Powell (Powerhouse Vocalist). Music was always a constant motivating force . He went from carrying sunday morning services from the tender age of 7 to carrying his own tune on his critically acclaimed independent albums. He has worked with the likes of Kim Burrell, all of the Clark Sisters, Tramaine Hawkins, Kelly Price, Rance Allen, Donald Lawrence, John P. Kee, the late Billy Preston, Mike Phillips, Tye Tribbett, Tonex, The Tommies, Pastor Marvin Winans, Rob Lewis, Alex Ward, Mano Haines, just to name a few.

Doobie loves the Lord and his mission is to reach every soul in need through the music . He has recorded five critically acclaimed independent albums, which has allowed him to minister to people of all ages everywhere. Doobie's goal as a minister of music is to help upbuild the Kingdom of God by doing the Lord's will. Doobie hopes that through his ministry people lives will change not just temporarily but forever and ultimately help them make the step towards being in Christ.
