1) An abstract hip hop artist, producer and rapper born in Austin, TX, whose music is influenced by that of the Anticon & Def Jux labels of the early 2000s as well as the general stylings of other indie rap artists. He got his start at 13 by producing instrumental hip hop influenced plunderphonics music, and released his first album as a rapper, Composition, in January 2023. Later in the year he would release the collaborative effort I Can't Wait for the Day I Wish Who I Am Right Now with Young Hachi in August, only to switch styles and put out a folktronica-based record, VVS, about his experiences with being formerly transgender, in January 2024. January 2025 sees the release of his newest record, Braille Brandishing.

2) A poprock band from Trondheim, Norway. The band consists of Erlend Angelsen on guitar, Trond Lindset on vocals, Morten Hagen on bass, Adam Storli on guitar/synth, and Fredrik Jenssen on drums. Departure's music is influenced by such bands as Jimmy Eat World, The Killers, and Your Vegas. The song "Half / Split" was released digitally in October 2010, and was immediately put into heavy rotation on most of the Norwegian radio channels. The second single "Gravity" was put into radio rotation in March 2011. Their first album is expected in the last half of 2012.

3) Jeff Diehl (eventually of YoungBlood) and Danny Williams had played in their high school band "Departure" through their entire time in high school. After high school Jeff played in a national touring rock band named "Super Trooper" until 1986. After leaving the band, Jeff opened his recording studio, Diehl Productions in his home town of Carmel, Indiana in 1987.
