There are at least two different bands called The Answers, both of them British and both of them active in the 1960s.
The Answers were an English beat group of the 1960s and pop group of the early 1970s. From Little Hulton, Salford, United Kingdom, they formed in 1965, the line-up settling down to Brian Gibbs (lead guitar, vocals), John Davies (keyboards, vocals), Dennis Shuttleworth (bass) and Tom Casey (drums). The band established their own recording studio, Sirius Music, in Farnworth in 1970 and signed to the Spark label, where they recorded and released two singles. Davies left the group around 1972 (and tragically died in a car accident shortly thereafter). The Answers continued briefly as a three-piece, before disbanding.
The Answers were also a shirt-lived British mod rock band from the 1960s that released just two singles (on Columbia) in 1966: 'Just a Fear' and 'That's What You're Doing to Me'. Band members included Gavin Watts, J. Vincent Edwards and Tony Hill.
