A number of artists work under the name Kinematik.

1) Kinematik is an instrumental rock band from Lebanon formed in 2014, whose music blends elements of 70’s psychedelia, progressive rock and post-rock. Anthony Sahyoun, guitarist of Kinematik, states that “50 % of our music is the result of improvisations”. The band comprises Jad Atoui, Rudy Ghafari, Akram Hajj, Ziad Moukarzel, Anthony Sahyoun and Teddy Tawil.

2) Residing from the slum of a rundown estate in Orpington, Kinematik (aka Robert Kettle) first started as a DJ mixing Prog. House in clubs across liverpool labeling himself as 'DJ Rob-o. He later then transcended on to mixing drum & bass, dubstep, and breaks. A soon time after, he moved on to producing music as well as just DJing. This is when he meticulously constructed different types of sounds, experimenting with Old school hip hop beats syncronised with polyrythmic sounds. His sound encompasses many notable influences such as squarepusher and early 90's Hip-Hop.
