Maxwell Elliot Dent (born April 3, 2003), professionally known as PlaqueBoyMax, is an American streamer, audio engineer, rapper, and songwriter from West Orange, New Jersey, with over 2 million followers on Twitch.

Dent began creating content on YouTube under the name "MaxGotNext," with an early video showing him playing basketball with his middle school friends. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Dent created a new channel called the "Basement Boyz," with him and his high school friends. They started making content, such as public interviews, pranks, and rap battles. Dent was an editor of the channel and appeared in most of the videos. Dent decided to go solo and start streaming in April 2021, leaving the Basement Boyz behind, as it would take him "30 hours to edit a 10-minute video".

Dent would make music reaction videos on his old plaqueboymax channel (now maxburner). His reaction to rapper tana's "Antisocial 2" would be his most-viewed video at the time, showing him crying to the song. Dent would also react to other underground rappers such as Kashdami, Kankan, yvngxchris, and Yeat.

Dent collaborated with other content creators and created his community called "5$TAR." He still mainly reacts to videos but includes other components to them, such as "Try Not To Laugh" on Reddit, reacting to Jubilee videos, interacting with his Twitter Community, making music on FL Studio and hosting Discord contests and videos where he gets his community involved, such as showing off their bedrooms, glow ups, confessions, report cards, helping his viewers on getting into relationships and making songs.

Dent rose to popularity from reacting to "What Song Are You Listening To?" videos from the YouTuber Shan Rizwan. A clip of him reacting to these videos was posted on TikTok and garnered millions of views.

In October 2022, Dent would begin his rap career with the song "Jail," a gay parody remix of Ken Carson's song "Yale." After that, he started gaining traction and taking music more seriously, which he incorporated into his Twitch live streams.

In December 2022, Dent would start something called "Diss Wars," where he gathered multiple people divided into groups that go head to head to diss each other, and the best diss wins. Multiple songs that he made from diss wars ended up doing big numbers due to his plug channels uploading the songs he made. He started collaborating with his best friend, gawsxo and together they created the song "Melodic Life."

On April 28, 2024, Dent became a member of the reboot of FaZe Clan, alongside fellow Twitch streamers Silky, JasonTheWeen, and Lacy as their newest members.

On December 7, 2024, Dent was nominated and won the award "Best Creative Arts Streamer" at The Streamer Awards.

On December 26, 2024, Dent, along with rapper DDG, released the song "Pink Dreads." The song was made while Dent was live streaming on Twitch with DDG, using FL Studio. They released the music video for the song under the fivestarlabel on January 1, 2025. The song went viral on TikTok with multiple TikTokers making a new dance for the song.
