The Mixers has been played on NTS shows including A Scene In Between , with No One Loves You At All first played on 28 February 2025.

The Mixers formed around 1980 in Glasgow, Scotland, took their name from Anthony Burgess' "A Clockwork Orange" and featured three guitarists, a bassist and drummer. Their songwriting influences came predominantly from 1960s British beat groups, but their performance style was equally informed by bands from the punk/new wave era. They split around 1984. Their only record release was "All For Art & Art For All", an album compiled by Daniel Treacey of The Television Personalities and released on his Wha-am!!! label. Their contributions to the LP were "Never Find Time" and "Love Hurts", both of which were subsequently re-released by Vinyl Japan on various compilations and as a 7" single. More recently, another band has adopted the same name: The Mixers are a quintet who play excellent Classic Rock, Rhythm & Blues, Rockabilly and Ska. This band brings a freshness and zeal to their music that is infectious. The band works incessantly to hone their sound and presentation. They provide an honest, enthusiastic stage show that concentrates on the music.
