Peggy Scott & Jo Jo Benson has been played on NTS in shows including James McNew (YO LA TENGO), featured first on 1 August 2025. Songs played include Soulshake.

In the late 1960s, the unisex duo Peggy Scott and Jo Jo Benson made the Billboard Hot 100. All three songs placed much higher on the R&B chart. Those songs are "Lover's Holiday", "Pickin' Wild Mountain Berries", and "Soul Shake." They scored a minor hit with the song "I Want To Love You Baby." By then, the duo's relationship was strained. They recorded a few more obscure singles in the early 1970s with no success before disbanding. As of 1996, Peggy Scott-Adams is still active in music with success as a solo artist.
