The Boomerangs has been played on NTS shows including The Uline Catalog w/ Calvin LeCompte, with Don't Let Her Be Your Baby first played on 1 August 2025.

There are at least three bands called The Boomerangs.

The Boomerangs were a short-lived beat band of the 1960s from Drogheda, Leinster, Ireland. Formed in 1965 by singer, lead guitarist and songwriter Jon Ledingham while attending Trinity College in Dublin, they released just one single under the Boomerangs moniker: 'Dream World' b/w 'Upgraded' (Pye Records, 1966). Ledingham went on to release two solo singles for Pye, briefly played in Colin Peterson's post Bee Gees-group Humpy Bong and recorded prolifically in the 1970s under his solo moniker Jonathan Kelly.

The Boomerangs were an attempt to cash in on the popularity of that crazy Detroit garage music. Sadly they failed… a few too many viewings of 'This is Spinal Tap' skewed the band's perspective. Personnel: Dan Mulholland, vocals, guitar, harmonica ( ex-Urbations, Watusies, Cyclones, Roadrunners, Witchdoctors, Stumpgrinders, Navarones, Stomprockets, Shanks….currently in Kentucky Chrome), Adam Berg: drums (ex-Godbullies, Sounds of the Czars…..currently in the Ypsitucky Colonels, They Never Sleep), Tom "Sugar" Robbins: bass (ex-Ten High, Big Barn Combo….currently in the Ypsitucky Colonels), R. Baker: guitar (ex-GKW, Urbations, Witchdoctors….currently in the Ypsitucky Colonels).

The Boomerangs are a band from Purchase, NY, United States who recently released their first full length LP “Bridle the Gale”. Band members include: Russ Barrnett (guitar/vocals), Dave McNamara (drums/mandolin/banjo), Clay Wilson (bass), Ian Feulner (guitar/vocals). Offical Website : www.boomerangsband.com
