YFG Fatso is a rising American rapper from the South Side of Chicago, Illinois. He is best known for his contribution to the modern Chicago drill scene and his affiliation with Lil Durk’s record label. Fatso began his musical journey at a young age, recording his first track around 12 or 13 years old. He grew up in a household with four siblings and took his stage name from a childhood nickname (Fatso) and his neighborhood affiliation (YFG).He gained significant traction through viral YouTube releases and social media snippets, eventually catching the attention of Lil Durk.
