Tom Richardson has been played on NTS shows including Kiss Cafe w/ Maraschino, with Hippy Blood (Free Spirit Mix) first played on 2 April 2026.

Tom Richardson has also just been identified as one of the country's most promising emerging artists, noted as a finalist in the greatest number of categories at the Australian Blues Music Awards (Song of the Year, Male Vocalist of the Year, Best New Talent, Duo/Group of the Year). In 2009, Tom was short listed for the Australian Songwriting Competition, Vanda and Young Songwriting Contest and the APRA Professional Development Awards, from a field of over 700 applicants.

At only 22 years of age, Tom has already shared the stage with artists such as Diesel, John Butler, Ash Grunwald, The Audreys, Dallas Frasca, The Vasco Era and Carus and the True Believers.

DEBUT ALBUM Releasing his debut solo album, Evolution, in December 2008, the record quickly came to the forefront of the Australian Blues industry receiving numerous national awards and nominations. Tracks from the album gained high rotation and interviews on Triple J, holding the top 3 spots on Triple J Unearthed charts for over a month, as well as securing airplay on commercial and community radio stations worldwide. The ABC has used tracks for the television series, Australian Story. Tracks have just been chosen to feature on 'First Love', a surfing documentary presented by Rip Curl.
