Christoph Poppen was born in 1956 in Münster, Germany. Poppen is a conductor, soloist (baroque violin), chamber musician, and pedagogue. In autumn of 2001, the CD - "Morimur" was released. It's a recording of Bach's Partita in d-minor with Christoph Poppen and the Hilliard Ensemble.
