John Etnier has been played on NTS shows including Nite Jewel, with March Of The Kind Beasts first played on 24 June 2017.

An artist from Maine, USA, John Etnier released four albums of his own music from 1982 to 1995: modem, The Demo, Arterial and Performance, the first two being rock oriented, the latter two focussing on scoring for performance and multimedia. (In the years 1983 to 1995 Etnier completed several scores for Portland Maine area media artists and dance companies.) These releases garnered praise in various national magazines of the period, including OPtion, Electronic Musician & Sound Choice. In the late 1970's he was a founding member of the seminal punk-jazz group The Same Band.
