Martröð has been played on NTS in shows including Radio Fenriz, featured first on 25 November 2016. Songs played include Draumleiðsla.

Martröð is an international black metal project, featuring Alex Poole (Krieg, Skáphe), MkM (Aosoth, Antaeus), D.G. (Misþyrming, Naðra), Wrest (Leviathan), H.V Lyngdal (Wormlust), and Thorns (Blut aus Nord). The project was masterminded by Alex Poole in 2014. The name is Icelandic for 'nightmare'. Their debut EP Transmutation of Wounds was released in 2016 on Terratur Possessions and Fallen Empire Records.
