Danielle Palardy Roger has been played on NTS in shows including GEORGIA: All Kind Music, featured first on 18 February 2016. Songs played include L’Orage.

Percussionist, composer and improviser. Her inimitable percussion style poured out speech-like with orchestrally various gestures accumulating over time into a complex field.

Active on the Montreal “musique actuelle” scene since 1980, she co-founded the groups Justine, Wondeur Brass, Les Poules and Productions SuperMusique, a company dedicated to experimental and avant-garde musics. She also instigated Ensemble SuperMusique; a shape-shifting ensemble solely devoted to the performance of new music works and improvisation.

In addition to her close collaborators from the Ambiances Magnétiques crowd – Jean Derome, Joane Hétu, Diane Labrosse, Pierre Tanguay and Martin Tétreault, she has worked with Nick Caloia, Christine Duncan, Lori Freedman, Fred Frith, Joëlle Léandre, Torsten Mueller, the VivaVoce Choir and the Quasar Sax Quartet, among others.
