Amy True

Amy True

Amy True has been played on NTS in shows including Kit Records, featured first on 27 April 2013. Songs played include Supersonic.

Amy True started singing/rapping in a group at the age of 16 before working on her solo career and releasing a mixtape called Subject of my Environment. Amy True is the definition of versatility and her vocal range and lyrical skills mesh perfectly with most sounds; whether it is live with an acoustic guitar or on the dirtiest hip hop beats, Amy continually sounds in her comfort zone. From meeting the former Prime Minister Gordon Brown to performing for Barack Obama‘s stepmother – all in the name of youth, music funding and black history – it’s fair to say Amy has a passion for introducing music to people at a grass roots level. This in turn led her to join “People’s Army“, a collective promoting a common cause of freedom and expression. Amy has performed all over UK and in Europe and turns heads wherever she is. She is a complete performer with an amazing vocal range and great versatility.
