Darqwan has been played on NTS over 30 times, featured on 36 episodes and was first played on 20 August 2012.

Coming out of the jungle scene Sheffield's Oris Jay a.k.a Darqwan carved a name for himself way before he revolutionized Uk Garage by bringing true darkness to the sound, paving the way for dubstep alongside producers like El-B, Steve Gurley and Zed Bias.

Darqwan also produces as DQ1 and RS4 and runs the label Texture.
