British post-punk band Sudden Afternoon is a mystery to just about everyone. Virtually nothing is known about the band, apart from founding members were R. S. Warner (a.k.a.: Bob Warner) and Matt Russell. They released one album (Dancing Shadows, 1985) and two EPs. They got started around 1985 and by the end of 1986 had moved on to The Beyond, before going their separate ways. Personnel: Cliff Howard, Len Sach, Matt Russell, R. S. Warner, Soner Houloussi and William Hayter.
