Auton has been played on NTS in shows including SIREN, featured first on 29 November 2018. Songs played include Operaia.

In 2004 Auton began recording Any Where Out of the World in Copenhagen. Some of the works appeared in 2006 as a very limited edition cd-r release on the now defunct label Produkt from Malmö, Sweden. Not until spring of 2008 was the full-length album completed.

Auton consists of Rikard Heberling, Douglas Holmquist & Petter Samuelsson.
