JAKAZiD has been played on NTS in shows including DOOM IS NO EXCUSE, featured first on 10 April 2019. Songs played include Be With U (Machine Girl Remix) and Total XTC With U.

Josh McInnes, or JAKAZiD as his predominantly internet-based following knows him, is a music composer and producer from Portsmouth, United Kingdom. The majority of his works focus on the fundamentals of happy hardcore with influences of freeform and Japanese dance music, though he has also written house, trance and drum 'n' bass music in the past.

He is a fairly young addition to the happy hardcore scene, and many people have been quick to show admiration for his passion towards writing energetic yet melodic, dancefloor-shaking songs that are bursting with innovation.

During his early ventures into music production, he produced a series of albums by the name of Aural Adrenaline which was due to continue into its third incarnation at the end of 2005, but a fateful computer malfunction destroyed all the data files which contained the tracks-in-progress which he had been working on for over a year.

Bouncing back from this event, JAKAZiD set up a digital label in January to keep the AA sound alive, known as Aural Adrenaline Digital, which has had a handful of solid releases. A number of these tracks are reconstructed versions of tracks from the so-called "AA3" era.

JAKAZiD's most famous works are probably his comedy video remixes of the Esure and Cillit Bang television adverts. The website Lucky Kazoo which hosted the videos generated a staggering 2.8 million hits within a year of being online, and are still fairly popular.
