The Warner Brothers has been played on NTS shows including Diddy Wah, with Do The Hog first played on 13 May 2019.

Primarily formed by Dan Warner and James "The Reverend" Stewert, The Warner Brothers were a band who were prominent in the Melbourne music scene through the 1990's. In 1992, the band released their first independent album 'Talking In Your Sleep.' A mix of country/rockabilly/rock and roll, the album focused on people and places in and around Melbourne, Australia. The Album received much praise but also gained the attention of Time/Warner who were concerened about the use of the Warner Brothers name. After a bitter legal battle, the band gave in and changed their name to Overnight Jones. Under this name, the band released a five track E.P entitled 'Not Brothers Anymore.' After playing many a Sunday night at the well known, and now defunct, Punter's Club on Brunswick street, as well as a residency at the Corner Hotel in Richmond, the band went their seperate ways, Dan Warner moving to the US. Due to their popularity amongst musos and fans alike, the Corner Hotel changed the name of it's front room to 'The Dan Warner Room' Many of the group's albums are now hard to obtain.
