Klaus Doldinger (12 May 1936 – 16 October 2025) was a German saxophonist and composer, recognized for his contributions to jazz and film music. He collaborated frequently with filmmaker Wolfgang Petersen, composing scores for several of his films. In 1997, Doldinger received the Bavarian Film Award (Honorary Award) in recognition of his achievements in film music.
