Dieter Schütz (born 9 May 1955 in Flensburg, Germany; died 25 September 1991) was a highly talented German multi-instrumentalist who sadly died at the age of only 36, leaving behind a discography of downtempo / ambient music, often associated with the New Age genre. Well known albums include TransVision (1981) and Voyage (1985).
