Sumach has been played on NTS shows including Bad Vibes w/ Eyedress, with Suckas first played on 18 May 2020.

Before gaining exposure under the moniker of Gonjasufi, Sumach Ecks rapped with the Masters of the Universe and self-released some solo stuff under the name Sumach. It's hard to find much material from this era of Ecks' career, but one gem is his verse on "Anything Is Possible", the 14th track of the Johnson&Jonson album by Blu and Mainframe.
