These New Puritans hosted a guest show on 19 February 2020. These New Puritans has been played on NTS over 20 times, featured on 25 episodes and was first played on 15 March 2014.

These New Puritans (sometimes abbreviated to TNPs) are a British art rock band from the Southend-on-Sea area. The group consists of Jack Barnett (songwriter, producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist), his twin brother George Barnett (drums, loops), Thomas Hein (bass guitar, sampler, drums), and Sophie Sleigh-Johnson (keyboards, sampler). Elisa Rodrigues joined TNPs after Sophie's departure in 2012.

They have released five studio albums; Beat Pyramid (2008), Hidden (2010), Field of Reeds (2013) and a live recording Expanded (live at the barbican) (2014) from their London concert on 17 April 2014 with The Heritage Orchestra and Synergy Vocals, Inside the Rose (2019), and The Cut, released in February 2020.
