Paul Celan has been played on NTS in shows including Self and Other, featured first on 11 June 2021. Songs played include Stimmen and Corona.

Paul Celan wrote poetry that manages to be lyrical while sometimes skirting the edges of comprehensibility. His parents died in one of the Nazi death camps, not certain it was Auschwitz. He himself jumped into the river Seine in Paris in 1970, aged 49.
