Airborne Toxic Event has been played on NTS shows including Noise In My Head, with I'm Reading first played on 25 October 2016.

This Airborne Toxic Event band came from Brisbane, Australia. They operated between 1990-1991.

The most significant thing about this outfit is a decision to play without drums. Use of early model digital samplers (Roland S-50, Casio FZ-1) also set this band apart from guitar oriented acts that dominated the Brisbane scene about that time. ATE also projected films onto the stage during performances to add to the visuals. Not many people liked it…..
